Upgrade your interior by opting for contemporary heritage style external doors. The distinctive look is achieved by creating a grid-like pattern with additional beading. The iconic design will suit a variety of interior styles to mid-century modern to Scandinavian design and will look great with our Manhattan internal door collection. The 8ft Aluvu Bi-fold is available in the configuration of 3+0 meaning there will be 3 doors in total with one of them being a traffic door. This traffic door can be on the right or the left-hand side. All our Aluvu door collection is also available bespoke. You can personalise the door to whatever colour, size, configuration, opening type, glazing style and accessories you want!

What is a traffic door on an aluminium bi-fold door system?

A traffic door offers the useful function of allowing you effortless access inside and out, without having to unlock and open the other door panels. They are available in all of our stock configurations and can be positioned at the left or right of the configuration, wherever best suits.

What glazing is used in external patio doorsets?

In LPD Doors Aluvu range, we use 28mm thick, argon filled toughened safety glass, tempered to BSEN12150/12600 BSEN1279 for improved thermal efficiency. We also offer bespoke glazing options such as solar tint and self-cleaning glass. Please see our external bi-fold brochure for more information.
